Export Packing & Transport of Industrial Cooling Equipment to Norway

Crating Solutions was contracted by a regular client of a well-established local engineering firm to manage the export packing and transport of large industrial cooling equipment bound for Norway.

✅ On-Site Custom Packing

The unit was packed at the client’s premises using a custom-built timber export packing case, purposely-engineered to handle the equipment’s weight and footprint. All packing was completed in accordance with BS 1133 (British Standards for Packaging) and ISPM 15 guidelines, ensuring full export compliance World-Wide.

🔧 Red Sliding Hatches for Safe Securing

To assist with lashing and securing the load, 8 x red-painted sliding hatches were installed in the case. These were designed to expose key points (securing eyelets) during the handling process. This was one of the clients requirements as the case was remaining on the transport trailor all the way to the end destination Norway.

🚚 Safe Transport & Delivery

Following successful inspection, Crating Solutions managed the transport of the wide load, including escort services, through to Immingham Docks for onward export to Norway. The project was delivered on time, in full with all required documentation and logistics/ project managed by the project team here at CSL.
