Crating Solutions Ltd will crate anything from the smallest items to the largest needs of industry. Wooden crates and heavy duty skids are designed for the size, weight, shape, fragility, sensitivity, and destination of your items to be shipped. We will include features as required including floater bases and foam lining or supports for shock and vibration protection. Specialty hardware, blocking, and ramps may also be included to facilitate reuse or loading.

Timber has obvious advantages over other materials: it has the potential to regenerate and to provide an infinite supply of timber for our use; wood is recyclable, waste efficient, bio-degradable and non-toxic. Timber has also proven to be particularly energy efficient in use, and as such can play major role in combating global warming.

Forest area in temperate and boreal regions continues to increase despite a growth in the volume of timber extracted from these forests to meet a rising demand for wood products. Young trees are far more effective absorbers of carbon dioxide, the principal greenhouse gas, than mature trees. Thus harvesting mature trees and planting or naturally regenerating tree seedlings can increase the amount of carbon sequestered from the atmosphere, thereby mitigating the greenhouse effect.
